This term, we began our new novel, The Explorer, after an exciting launch day! James Brunt spent the day with us in the wild area helping us to create natural art from materials we could scavenge. We’ve also participated in Sports Day and celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Y2 had a lovely trip to Cleethorpes this half term! We spent the day looking at the human and physical features of Cleethorpes and then we had a walk along the seafront. After enjoying fish and chips we then drew our own maps!
The children at Aston Hall have been invited to join the RSPCA photography competition. Here is our first entry! We can’t wait to see more coming in. For more information follow the link below https://young.rspca.org.uk/ypa/home
Last week both Y5 and Y6 visited Whitby for residential and what an adventure in learning was had! From Dracula’s lair, ghost walks, fossil hunting, and ice cream to the 199 steps to the magnificent Abbey! The children’s smiles beamed with enjoyment and success – an amazing experience for all.
