Y3PB Online Author Event
This week, we had an online meeting with Swapna Haddow, author of the Dave Pigeon and Bad Panda books. She shared some of her stories with us, tips for writing and how to plan our own stories using 3 objects found around the classroom.

EYFS have had a fantastic first few weeks at school! They’ve all settled in brilliantly and are following the Aston Hall Way already. We’ve enjoyed getting to know each other, making new friends and choosing to play in many areas. Well done FS2!
Year 5/6 Online Author Event
Year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to meet the author Annelise Gray via video chat last week. We really enjoyed learning about her novels and how her interest in history and horses has inspired her stories.

Class Novel Clues
Y3PB collected clues about our new class novel throughout the week, and used them to make predictions. Then we hunted in our wild area for letters from the book title and worked together to reveal what we will be studying!
