Y3/4 Half Term Update

This term, we began our new novel, The Explorer, after an exciting launch day! James Brunt spent the day with us in the wild area helping us to create natural art from materials we could scavenge. We’ve also participated in Sports Day and celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Y2 Cleethorpes Trip

Y2 had a lovely trip to Cleethorpes this half term! We spent the day looking at the human and physical features of Cleethorpes and then we had a walk along the seafront. After enjoying fish and chips we then drew our own maps!
Aston is getting snappy!

Whitby Trip

Last week both Y5 and Y6 visited Whitby for residential and what an adventure in learning was had! From Dracula’s lair, ghost walks, fossil hunting, and ice cream to the 199 steps to the magnificent Abbey! The children’s smiles beamed with enjoyment and success – an amazing experience for all.
