Y6 Primary Prom 2025

Last week, our Y6 children came together to celebrate the end of their primary school journey at the WPT Y6 Prom, and it truly was a wonderful way to wrap up their time with us. Everyone took part in some games, dancing, food, and fun with friends! Everyone had a fantastic evening, using the photobooth […]
Outdoor Club

This week, Outdoor Club have been working hard to finish all the summer planting. There are now lots of bright bedding plants, and colourful hanging baskets are all around the school! Everyone has done such a fantastic job, and should be super proud of themselves. Well done, Outdoor Club! #WeWorkHard
FS2 Seaside Trip

Last week, FS2 had a wonderful day at the seaside! They enjoyed a walk along the promenade while spotting lots of coastal features, then they tucked into a traditional ‘chip shop’ lunch, built sandcastles on the beach, and even enjoyed an ice cream as well! Our youngest children in school were incredibly well behaved, showing […]
KS2 at One Voice

Last week, LKS2 children in our One Voice Choir made us all so proud. They sang their hearts out at the One Voice Show at Magna, as part of Rotherham’s Children’s Capital of Culture. They joined many other schools from the Rotherham area, and performed beautifully for a large audience of all their family members. Well […]
Y5 Student Heading to The Royal Ballet School

We are extremely proud of Y5 student, Ashleigh, who has been offered a place at the Royal Ballet School as a Junior Associate for the next academic year. She will be based in Manchester, and was successful after attending nationwide auditions where less than 10% of auditionees are offered a place. Well done Ashleigh, we’re so […]

KS2 Children’s Science Museum Trip

Recently, KS2 went on a trip to The Children’s Science Museum in Eureka, Halifax. The children learnt all about different areas of science, and took part in an experiment, which showed how food is digested. The sun was shining, and everyone had a great day consolidating their science knowledge. Great work, KS2! #WeAreAlwaysLearning

Children took part in a wonderful hike through Cave Dale, where they navigated rocky paths and steep climbs while taking […]
Y5/6 Cricket

A huge well done to our Y5/6 Cricket team, who participated in the Rotherham School Games competition on Monday 16th June. They have been eagerly practising during their lunchtimes, and honestly blew everyone away with their teamwork, and the way they organised their own tactics. Lots of the boys hit 6s and 4s, as well […]
Art in Y1

Recently in Art, Y1 have been learning how to print using printing ink and tools. The children created prints inspired by our Brazilian Artwork topic. This was a tricky process at first, but every child mastered it by the end! They even turned their favourite prints into Fathers Day cards. Well done, Y1! #WeAreAlwaysLearning
