Last week, the FS2 children had the most fantastic time learning all about Lunar New Year. They loved creating dragons in the workshop, and reading the traditional tale, ‘The Great Race’, to learn why 2025 is the year of the snake. Everyone also enjoyed role playing, by visiting a Chinese restaurant, writing Happy New Year in Mandarin, and tasting some delicious Chinese food. The children finished off the week in style, by taking part in a dragon dance with a dragon head they created themselves.
