Year 1/2 have had such an amazing start back to school, and we couldn’t be prouder of how quickly they’ve settled back into classroom life. They have jumped straight into their learning with so much enthusiasm and have been impressing us with their brilliant writing skills, sharing all about their families and who lives in their homes. It has been wonderful to see them using full sentences, adding detail, and showing just how much progress they have already made.
In Maths, they have been exploring place value, working hard to find different ways of making a number. They’ve been using practical resources, counting carefully, and showing off their problem-solving skills as they represented numbers in different ways.
It’s been a busy but brilliant start, and the children are already showing kindness, teamwork, and determination every single day. Well done, Year 1/2!
