This week, Year 4 have been getting into the festive spirit by making gingerbread biscuits! The children enjoyed rolling out the dough, cutting out festive shapes, and decorating their biscuits with icing and sprinkles.
Along the way, they learned important skills such as measuring ingredients accurately, following instructions carefully, and working together. It was a fun, hands-on activity that allowed the children to be creative while also practising teamwork and patience.
The best part? Everyone got to enjoy their delicious gingerbread creations at the end – a perfect way to celebrate the start of the festive season!
