Science Careers Assembly

This week, we were delighted to welcome Dr. Bhadra Kumar to our Careers assembly, linking science to real-world careers.

Bhadra is a neuroscientist conducting research into conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. She spoke to the pupils about her role, the work she does, and the qualities needed to succeed in her career.

The students were fascinated to learn about how the brain works, what it feels like to touch, and even how our brains help us maintain balance when our eyes are open!

A huge thank you to Dr. Bhadra Kumar for delivering such an engaging and inspiring assembly.
