This week, Year 1 had a fantastic time during their POPs Outdoor session. Linked to their poetry topic on Julia Donaldson, the children enjoyed reading ‘Room on the Broom‘ in the woods, bringing the story to life in a real outdoor setting.
They then collected sticks to create their own magic wands and gathered leaves to make imaginative magic potions. It was a fun and creative session that combined storytelling, nature, and hands-on learning. Well done, Y1!
