Year 1 have been working super hard as they prepare for their Phonics Screening Check. The children have been making phonics fun by taking part in lots of extra games and practise activities throughout the day, helping to build their confidence and develop their reading skills. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and progress.
We are also looking forward to welcoming Y1 parents and carers to our ‘Phonics Fun with Families’ session on 1st June, 2:15pm-3:15pm, where pupils will be able to share some of the exciting games and activities they have been enjoying in school.
