In English, Year 3 have been working on creating a setting description of the sea, using expanded noun phrases, powerful verbs and similes.
To help gather vocabulary and ideas, the children explored a seaside sensory box, as well as looking at photographs and watching videos. They then organised their ideas into two paragraphs – one describing the sea and the other describing the beach. Fantastic work, Y3!
