Year 1/2 have had a wonderful start to the new school year! In Geography, pupils have been learning about their local area and exploring how Aston compares in size with Sheffield, the wider county and the rest of the world.
To bring their learning to life, the children used the playground to create large circles showing the size of each area. This gave them a fantastic visual way to compare different geographical scales and understand where Aston fits within the wider world. Well done, Y1/2!
