Last week, pupils at Aston Hall took part in an exciting Viking Day, filled with fun activities that brought their history learning to life.
Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed a range of hands-on experiences. They took part in archery lessons in the field, learning skills that would have been important to Viking warriors. They also joined art workshops, where they created drawings of traditional Viking longboats, exploring the designs and features that made these ships so effective for travel and exploration.
