Today, EYFS had a wonderful time getting hands-on in the garden as they planted their very own carrots. They explored the soil, carefully planted seeds, and discussed what plants need to grow – sunshine, water, and plenty of care.
This activity supports their learning by developing fine motor skills, encouraging curiosity about the world, and promoting a sense of responsibility as they look after their plants.
The children are excited to watch their carrots grow over the coming weeks – fingers crossed for a healthy harvest.
