This week, we were delighted to welcome talented local author and illustrator Bethan Woollvin to our school. Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed reading stories, learning about illustration techniques, drawing their own characters, and, most importantly, being inspired by Bethan’s creative journey and work. Bethan worked with every class in the school, giving all pupils the opportunity to take part in this exciting experience.
The visit was funded by the money raised through our Pete McKee Art Exhibition earlier this year, making it a wonderful way to celebrate the children’s creativity and hard work. We certainly discovered some hidden artistic talents at Aston Hall, and it was fantastic to see so much imagination and enthusiasm on display! Well done, everyone.
