Recently, EYFS made the most of the windy weather by taking their learning outdoors! The children explored how the wind moves different objects, using scarves and homemade carrier bag kites to investigate cause and effect through play. As they ran and chased their kites, they developed their coordination, communication, and descriptive language while having lots of fun.
It was a fantastic reminder that the weather can provide exciting learning opportunities, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and exploration in the great outdoors.
