Our children are celebrating and learning all about Lunar New Year this week, ahead of the new year starting this Sunday.
They are enjoying lots of themed activities such as; card writing, money purse, fan and decoration creating in the workshop, building dragons in the construction and cooking up Chinese food in the role play area. We’ve also baked our own fortune cookies!
The children understand that red is seen as a lucky colour and that the celebration happens every new moon.
