Miss Ellis recommends… Land of Roar by Jenny Mclachlan

If you love adventures, magical characters and a hint of danger, then this is a book that you will love!

In this story, twins – Arthur and Rose – visit their Grandad’s house and whilst staying there he mysteriously disappears. To find him, they have to travel to the Land of Roar (through a camp bed in the attic) and, although they sometimes fall out with each other, they must learn to work together along with mermaids, dragons and other mythical creatures to save their grandad, the Land of Roar and the world as they know it from Croaky the scarecrow.
