The children in Early Years enjoyed celebrating Eid-Al-Adha this week. On Tuesday we talked about the celebrations that happen during the day to celebrate Eid and then showed some of the special items of clothing that are worn. They enjoyed learning what mehndi is and had a go at decorating a hand themselves. They also baked star and moon biscuits, wrote cards to each other and family members and built mosques in the construction area. Finally, we listened to a song about Ramadan and ended the day with eating the special biscuits.
