Recently, as part of the WPT Enrichment and Entitlement Promise, Y2 had a lovely trip to Scarborough! The children looked at how the Victorians dressed for the seaside, the activities they took part in at seaside, and compared some Victorian artefacts to objects they use today.
Everyone went for a walk on the seafront, and found the famous Grand Hotel and the Spa. They even went on the tram, like the Victorians would have done to reach the promenade. The children had such a fantastic time, and represented the school brilliantly.
