This week marked Aston Hall’s final Outdoor Club of the school year! The children enjoyed exploring the school garden, where they checked on the progress of our tomato plants and were excited to see lots of different varieties growing.
As well as this, each child potted up their own bedding plant to take home and look after over the summer – a wonderful way for them to develop a lasting connection to nature.
This is encouraged further through Wickersley Partnership Trust’s Sustainability Promise, which promotes environmental responsibility across all schools in the Trust. Through activities like these, we’re helping our children understand the importance of caring for the planet, and making environmentally conscious choices.
Well done, Outdoor Club!
