Well done to all the Aston Hall pupils who reached their final reading reward of the year! These children have shown fantastic commitment by consistently reading at home at least three times a week – a brilliant demonstration of perseverance and a love of reading.
To celebrate this amazing achievement, the children enjoyed a fun-filled POPs Outdoor Adventure session. During the session, they worked together in teams to tackle a challenging obstacle course out on the school field. One of the main tasks required them to stay physically connected – holding onto each other without breaking the chain – encouraging them to develop important skills in communication and teamwork.
This experience is part of the Wickersley Partnership Trust rewards scheme, which ensures that students across all schools are recognised and celebrated for their hard work, effort, and personal achievements. Rewards like this are designed to keep pupils motivated and engaged, and to show them that dedication truly does pay off.
