Year 1 have had a fantastic first few days back in school and have settled in brilliantly. They’ve shown some impressive maths skills already! This week, they’ve been working hard on counting carefully, recognising numbers, and representing them in different ways using tens frames and Numicon. The children have shown great focus and enthusiasm, and it’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow with each activity.
Well done, Year 1 – what an amazing start to the year!
