Y4 History Trip

This week, Y4 visited Weston Park Museum to help consolidate their learning all about the Anglo-Saxons. The children had the opportunity to explore real artefacts, study Anglo-Saxon tools and clothing, and take part in hands-on activities that helped bring their history lessons to life. From examining swords and shields to learning how Anglo-Saxons lived, worked and ruled – the experience really deepened their understanding of this time period.

Trips like this are an important part of Wickersley Partnership Trust’s Enrichment Promise, ensuring that every child has opportunities to learn beyond the classroom, explore new places, and develop a love of learning through real-world experiences.

Well done to all of the children for representing school brilliantly!
