Yesterday, EYFS were lucky to welcome a very special visitor, author and illustrator Simon Murray, who introduced us to his fantastic book Icky Doo Dah!
The children loved listening to Simon explain how he creates his stories and illustrations, and really enjoyed learning about the process of bringing characters to life. There were lots of laughs, thoughtful questions, and plenty of inspiration for their own writing and drawing.
The visit sparked creativity and a real enthusiasm for reading, and it was wonderful to see how engaged the children were throughout the session. Thank you to Simon for such a fun and inspiring visit!
