This month, Year 2 visited Conisbrough Castle as part of their History learning. During the visit, they explored how the castle was built, who built it, and what life was like for the people who lived there. The children also enjoyed dressing up in historical costumes, which brought the past to life in a fun and engaging way.
Trips like this are an important part of Wickersley Partnership Trust’s Enrichment Promise, giving students the opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom and helping to develop their curiosity, cultural understanding, and love of history. Well done, Year 2!
