This week, Y3 visited Weston Park Museum to enhance their learning all about the Anglo-Saxons. As part of the trip, they dressed up in period costumes, held an Anglo-Saxon sword, made their own helmets, and explored a range of fascinating artefacts. The children were fully engaged throughout the day and brought their classroom learning to life.
Trips like this are a key part of the Wickersley Partnership Trust Enrichment Promise, giving pupils hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity, deepen understanding, and make learning memorable. Well done, Y3!
