The Grinch Poem in Y1

Mrs Vianna is incredibly proud of the work Year 1 have produced during their poetry unit. The children have been studying the work of Dr Seuss, including Green Eggs and Ham and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. They explored how Dr Seuss uses rhyme, rhythm and humorous characters to make his poems fun and engaging.

Using this inspiration, the children then wrote their own poems linked to the Grinch, showing great creativity and enthusiasm. Well done, Year 1!
