This week, FS2 have been busy with Pops Outdoor Adventures! After discovering local mini-beasts, the children became young architects and artists, celebrating the creatures that live in our garden.
After observing where woodlice, snails, and spiders like to hide, the children discussed what makes a good habitat – such as somewhere damp, dark, or sheltered. They then used their thinking skills to gather natural materials and create homes to support these mini-beasts.
The children also explored their creativity by making beautiful artwork using only natural materials they found on the ground. A fantastic week of outdoor learning – well done, FS2!
