Year 5 have been busy creating their own interactive nursery rhyme books as part of their DT project! The children began by researching existing products and exploring interactive features before learning how to create mechanisms such as pop-ups, levers, linkages, and rotating parts. They then used these skills to design and make their own interactive books, showing fantastic creativity, resilience, and problem-solving throughout.
To complete the project, Year 5 visited EYFS to share their books and gather feedback from the younger children. It was wonderful to see them proudly showcasing their work and inspiring the next generation of readers. Well done, Year 5!
