Over the last couple of weeks year 1 have been working hard on a piece of narrative writing. We studied The Day the Crayons Quit and wrote our own version of the story called “The Day the Whiteboard Quit”. We planned out our story using story boards. We learnt to write in the past tense and created word banks of ambitious vocabulary to use. Today we have just about finished our stories and have edited and improved our work using green pen. Well done everyone👏
