Last week, we were blown away by the incredible work produced by Y6 during their POPs Outdoor Adventure session, which linked brilliantly to our art topic on Picasso’s Blue Period.
The challenge was to recreate the mood of this famous artistic phase, where Picasso portrayed subjects who looked lonely, isolated, sombre or melancholic. The children rose to the task wonderfully, and we truly think they captured the emotion and atmosphere of the Blue Period in their artwork.
